Hello! My name is Syn, and I’m a recent graduate of UCL Laws. I understand the challenges that come with academic pressure and am here to help you achieve your full potential.
I specialize in teaching the LNAT, IB English, Biology, and Mandarin. Having grown up bilingual in English and Mandarin, I am fluent in both languages and can confidently support your language development.
I achieved a score of 42/45 in the IB and 33 in the LNAT, which led to multiple offers to study law at top universities. I’ve been tutoring for a while now with Study Mind and have helped many students successfully prepare for the LNAT and gain admission to their dream universities.

My teaching style
As a tutor, my teaching style is focused on creating an engaging and interactive learning environment. I believe in a student-centered approach where I encourage students to take an active role in their own learning. I strive to identify the unique learning style of each student and adapt my teaching approach accordingly. I incorporate various teaching methods such as visual aids, hands-on practices and discussions to make the subject matter more relatable and understandable. I aim to foster critical thinking and problem-solving skills, as I believe these are essential skills for academic success and personal growth.
My Proudest Achievements
One of my proudest achievements is my volunteer work in teaching underprivileged children after school. This experience was incredibly fulfilling and gave me a sense of purpose. Seeing the children’s enthusiasm for learning and their gradual improvements was incredibly heartwarming and encouraged me to continue tutoring and giving back to my community. I am grateful for the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of these children, and I remain proud to be a part of their educational journey.
