Hello there! My name is Maham. I am a second year undergraduate student studying Economics and Finance at the University of Leeds. Having been in your position not that long ago now- undergoing GCSE’s and A-levels- I understand how overwhelmed and anxious students can be. However, as a tutor I will show how achievable your academic goals can be with the right help and mindset. I explain concepts simply and focus heavily on exam techniques I myself used. I teach the subjects I am truly passionate about and want to assist in helping you tackle those subjects and hopefully enjoy the process as well. I also heavily focus on effective evidence-based revision techniques so that my students know what they should be doing in there own independent study time. I love to see my student’s confidence growing as they progress and I would love to join you in your journey… an academic comeback awaits you…!
My teaching style
I’m a versatile teacher who adapts my teaching style to fit the individual needs and weaknesses of my student. This ensures the student is able to reach their goals and full potential. I deeply care about my students independent revision and learning journey outside the tutored lessons. Therefore I work to also equip them with independent learning skills that are of paramount importance during university…making them great students for life!
