Hi! I’m Liam, and I’m passionate about helping students become confident, skilled guitarists.
With over 10 years of teaching experience, I’ve guided students of all levels from complete beginners to advanced players helping them not only enjoy playing guitar but also achieve fantastic results. Many of my students have successfully passed their Rockschool grades and have gone on to study music at colleges and universities.
My lessons are friendly, patient, and structured to suit your individual goals. Whether you want to play your favourite songs, master technique, or work towards graded exams, I’ll create a clear, personalised path for you. I believe learning guitar should be inspiring and fun, and I’m here to support you every step of the way!

My teaching style
I believe that learning guitar should be both enjoyable and rewarding. My teaching style is friendly, patient, and structured. I always make sure lessons are tailored to suit each student’s unique goals and pace. Whether you’re a complete beginner or looking to refine your skills, I’ll create clear, step-by-step lesson plans to keep you progressing confidently.
I combine technical development with musical enjoyment, helping students not only pass exams like Rockschool grades but also become well-rounded, expressive players. I aim to create a relaxed environment where you feel comfortable to ask questions, make mistakes, and grow as a guitarist.
Most importantly, I want my students to leave every lesson feeling motivated and excited to play!

My Proudest Achievements
One of the most rewarding parts of teaching for me is seeing my students succeed and grow beyond the lessons. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of helping many students pass their Rockschool grades with great results, opening doors to further education in music. Some have gone on to study at colleges and universities, join bands and perform live, and even become guitar tutors themselves continuing the cycle of sharing music and inspiring others.
Watching students develop their skills, build their confidence, and turn their passion for guitar into real opportunities is what makes teaching so fulfilling for me. Their achievements are truly my greatest pride!
