4About Me
Hi! I’m Katherine, a recent University of Cambridge graduate with a BA (Hons) in Land Economy and Geography. I achieved a First Class with distinction in several of my final year exams, also holding A*A*A* in A-Level Economics, Geography and Politics.
With two years of experience tutoring Land Economy applications and a strong track record tutoring A Level Economics and Geography, I’m dedicated to helping students excel. My tutoring style is tailored to each student, focusing on understanding, analysis, and confidence-building.
In my spare time I’m a keen rower, and whilst at university I was captain of my college rowing team. I also enjoy running and cycling around my local area!

My teaching style
My teaching style is very student orientated, often utilising the first session to set clear goals and understand the style of teaching that works for the student. Predominantly there will be a mixture of mock style Oxbridge interviews, academic “supervisions” and a chance to work on essay writing skills. I also run a number of personal statement and application workshops to help increase university chances. However, I equally enjoy teaching A-Level Economics and Geography content aiming for top grades!
My past experience
I have tutored with several companies in the past, including one student who secured an offer to Cambridge last year, and another who is applying in the autumn. I specialise in the niche but ever growing subject of Land Economy, but also can cater towards the TSA entrance exam, Law and Economics, as well as Geography.
My Proudest Achievements
My proudest achievement was probably winning a round of the British Kart Championship as a 17 year old – the only girl to ever do so in my class! I was a keen racing driver before I went to university.
