Nandita
About Me
Hi! I’m Nandita, and I’m currently a second-year medical student at the University of Buckingham. I’m from India, and I’ve done the ICSE curriculum until grade 10 and the Telangana State IPE in grade 12. I received the highest grade in my cohort in the 10th and 12th board exams. I received an offer from Buckingham, along with an offer for Biomedical Science at Swansea. I was in the top 1% of my batch during my 1st year of university. I have a strong interest in teaching and mentoring others (I am a peer mentor at university as well!). Having gone through the UCAT, BMAT, ILETS, interviews, and a rejection as well, I understand how challenging the process can be. I enjoy using my experience and knowledge I’ve gained through my mistakes, to guide others through the same process. I look forward to creating a supportive, motivating environement for my future tutees!
My teaching style
My teaching style is highly student-centred. I usually like to keep sessions with a clear goal, but I also adapt my sessions based on each person’s strengths and preferred learning method. I encourage active participation and reflection, and would provide constructive feedback in a positive way. I usually break down complex topics and try to make them easier to understand.
