About Me

Hi, I’m Rajdeep from London, currently in my fourth year at Imperial College London, studying Medicine. Having navigated the challenging process of applying to medical school myself, I understand how daunting and stressful it can be. My goal is to share insights and strategies with medical school applicants to help them succeed in securing a place on their desired course.

During my time at school, I mentored students and developed an understanding of what makes lessons effective. My enthusiastic and engaging teaching approach ensures that students build confidence while addressing areas where they wish to improve. I adapt to different learning styles, helping each student achieve their academic goals. Outside of academics, I enjoy playing American football and participating in various sports.

Applying to medical school can be overwhelming, but I’m here to help you stay calm, focused, and on track. I look forward to meeting you and supporting you on your journey!

My teaching style

I tailor my teaching approach to each student’s unique learning style. My lessons are designed to be interactive and engaging, ensuring students remain active participants in their learning process. I frequently ask questions to confirm understanding, address knowledge gaps, and reinforce key concepts. My focus is on making lessons both effective and enjoyable, helping students achieve their goals with confidence.

To ensure we make the most out of our lessons, I am also available via chat outside of our scheduled sessions to answer questions and provide additional support.

My past experience

Throughout my time at university, I have consistently tutored students, helping them prepare for medical school applications, including personal statements, interviews, A-Levels and admissions tests. My efforts have successfully helped many students secure offers at leading medical schools across the UK.

In addition, I was a student tutor during sixth form, assisting Year 11 and Year 12 pupils with GCSE Science, Maths, and A Level Biology and Maths. This experience allowed me to refine my tutoring methods and develop structured plans to help students achieve the results they need. These combined experiences have given me a strong foundation in understanding how to support students effectively in achieving their academic and career goals.

My Proudest Achievements

One of my proudest moments was being accepted into Imperial College London to study Medicine. Becoming a medical student at such a prestigious institution has been a lifelong dream of mine, and achieving this goal is a testament to my dedication and hard work.
