25About Me
Unconditional offer holder at the University of Cambridge and Imperial College London from Engineering (Chemical). In the previous year, I had applied for medicine, receiving offers from University College London and Kings College London but I decided to take a gap year as I did not want to become a doctor. I have experience tutoring for the following subjects at both GCSE and A Level: Maths, Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Scored grade 9/A* at GCSE/A Level in all respectively). Additionally I have experience tutoring for BMAT (6.5, 6.5, 3.5A), UCAT (3000 Band 1) and NSAA (5.7, 5.6, 8.4). I also have experience tutoring for Cambridge Engineering and Medicine interviews. Following my academic journey so far, I accepted an unconditional place to read Engineering (Chemical) from October 2024 at St John’s College Cambridge.
My teaching style
Problem based learning, that focuses on using exam or interview style questions to simulate the real experience during practice. Principle concentration on gaining the problem solving and skills required to tackle difficult questions rather than memorising information.
My past experience
Have tutored maths and all sciences at both GCSE and A Level. Have also done general tutoring for Oxbridge applications.
My Proudest Achievements
Successfully tutoring a student in their Physics A Level to get an A* in order to meet their Cambridge offer for economics. I had also tutored their Cambridge application process.
