I’m Devna, and I’m passionate about helping students to achieve their academic goals by and increase their confidence in their abilities.
I take a personalized approach to tutoring, adapting to each student’s unique learning style and needs. I believe in patience and understanding, and I create a space where students feel safe to ask questions and make mistakes.
I provide coaching, mentoring and informal teaching to my colleagues and juniors through my job, and I have prior experience tutoring Maths, Chemistry and Biology GCSE during university. I am familiar with the major exam boards (AQA, Edexcel, OCR, iGCSE). I have achieved the CIMA qualification (management accounting), a first in my Chemistry BSc from Warwick University and studied Maths, Chemistry and Biology at A Level.

My teaching style
I have a passion for helping others to achieve their full potential and I do this by adapting my teaching approach to learning styles, being patient and providing feedback and encouragement. I will work to understand key areas that require improvement and developing strategies to address them, whilst ensuring there is regular exam practice such as exam-style questions and past paper practice to ensure we’re always working toward the end goal.
