Hello! My name is Maria Koniarz, I was born and raised in Warsaw, Poland but I currently live in London, United Kingdom. Here is some basic information about me:
– First class University of Oxford Law with French law graduate and UniversitĂ© Paris II PanthĂ©on-Assas Law graduate
– Starting my Master’s degree in Medical Law at King’s College London in September 2023
– Have been tutoring for the LNAT and Oxbridge & UK admissions for over 4 years
– My students have been admitted to Oxford, LSE, UCL, Bristol and QMUL, as well as other prestigious universities
I promise to help reveal the full potential of the student and support him or her to take full advantage of the opportunities offered by studies at the best English universities. I feel that my experience would allow me to meet and exceed the students’ expectations.
During my teaching internship in China, I have also taught Chinese students to a high level of English competency, thanks to being able to adjust my teaching style to match a student’s learning style. I know how important it is that a student feel confident in their work and I know how to approach students’ problems from multiple angles.
I am enthusiastic about tutoring because I love to see the student’s progress and their confidence in themselves increasing over time, and I look forward to bringing this enthusiasm to my tutoring with new students.
My teaching style
LNAT:
My lessons are adapted to students’ individual needs and learning style. I offer analysis of sample essay questions, practice tests, as well as feedback on students’ essays. Whether the student is looking for extra guidance to improve their score or just starting their LNAT preparation, I am happy to help.
Oxbridge admissions:
I offer personal statement review and interview preparation sessions based on my own experience, having done interviews at St Peter’s College, Oxford. I also help with references and university selection process.
Law tutoring:
I offer tutoring in Tort, EU law, Administrative law and Jurisprudence (philosophy of law), having obtained First Class marks in these subjects. I also tutor in law for IB, A-levels and GCSE.
My past experience
I have been working as an Oxbridge & UK admissions and LNAT tutor since April 2019. I have had 30+ students from various countries and diverse educational backgrounds.
My Proudest Achievements
– Achieving First Class Honours in Law with French Law at the University of Oxford
– Completing a French law degree at the top law school in France in my third language, in one year
– Helping my students get into Oxford Law and inspiring them to fulfil their academic potential
