24About Me
Hi there, I’m Jasmine and I am currently looking to help students whilst studying Dentistry at uni.
I’m happy to help prepare for medicine and dentistry interviews helping students find things they can talk about at interview / prepare some structured answers, in addition to giving mock interviews and feedback. These would ideally be conducted over zoom / online. I’m also more than happy to answer any questions relating to the application process and life as a dental student.
My Alevels were Biology (Edexcel B), Chemistry (OCR A), Maths (Edexcel) and Music (Edexcel) and I’m happy to help with any homework queries or going over topics.
When I’m not working, I love cooking and baking, I play the cello and piano and I also love to go to the gym and I spend most of my free time in the pool swimming for uni!
Finally, a fun fact about me – I’m type 1 diabetic diagnosed in 2019!
My teaching style
Online video calls – I’m happy to make notes / mindmaps during our sessions but it depends on what the individual would find most useful
Calls would feel casual with the student bringing any queries / topics / things they want to cover to me. We can sort a method of communication so that I can have some time to prepare if I need.
My past experience
I currently help with the Pathway to Birmingham interviewing scheme for medicine and dentistry interviews
My Proudest Achievements
Getting into Dentistry school, competing at the Olympic Pool, getting a Leith’s cookery qualification and completing my Grade 8 in both piano and cello
