9About Me
I’m Ananya Hari Narain, a Computer Science graduate from the University of Cambridge. I graduated top of my college in July 2022 and am now a software engineer with Ocado Technology.
At A-Level I took Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Computer Science and obtained A*A*A*A. As I applied to Cambridge and Imperial, I had to sit interviews for both of these universities and also take the CSAT (Computer Science Aptitude Test) for Cambridge. This means I’m in a great position to be able to help out and offer my assistance with a wide variety of processes.
As a recent graduate and someone who asked my professors what would make a good candidate at the top universities, I have a good understanding of what universities are looking for when they admit Computer Science candidates. I’ve tutored several students, giving them help with their personal statements, admissions tests and interview prep, with success!
My teaching style
I like to engage my students as much as possible and to work through problems in the lessons that students have struggled with. I use my own resources to supplement them in their areas of weakness. I genuinely enjoy teaching; I can vividly remember what it was like going through GCSEs, A-Levels and university admissions processes so can sympathise with how stressful this can all be- hopefully my assistance can help alleviate some of these pressures!
My past experience
I have given tailored mock interviews for prospective Oxbridge students. I have also assisted with CSAT teaching.
I also have experience with GCSE and A-Level tutoring.
My Proudest Achievements
Graduating at the top of my college is certainly one of my proudest achievements; I scored in the top 5 in my Maths paper in my first year of University as well.
