About Me
Marketing professional with over 10 years’ industry experience in a variety of both B2C and B2B sectors. This includes working with leading cosmetic groups, membership bodies, private healthcare groups, educational institutions, international payments, commercial real estate and international recruitment businesses. Amar is data led and brings retail and e-commerce practices to deliver transformational change in marketing and automation, to grow commercial delivery of digital channels and increase cost-per-lead efficiencies YoY.
I see marketing as more than advertising. It’s important to understand the whole sales funnel. I teach how business is developed throughout the whole sales journey, and not just through clicks. This includes brand, which is often overlooked.
I also focus on the importance of incremental gains. In marketing, it’s important to get better continuously. Every campaign can always be better next time.
Before marketers start an advertising campaign, they often forget about the research side. Marketing research (not to be confused with market research) is essential at the earliest stage. Not only to understand what customers want or need, but how they are likely to best consume media about the product or service.
My teaching style
Numbers, results driven, and with case studies to link theory to practice. I apply real world working styles to support delivery of high quality work which will prove strong and successful in the corporate world, as well as the academic world.

My Proudest Achievements
This may not make sense to you yet, but it will one day. I won an award for being one of the company’s highest performers, and the sales teams thanked me for helping them pay their mortgages. In the corporate world, often sales and marketing have a disconnect or just do not appreciate each others work. This comment, albeit small, was actually a huge statement to show the power and success of the teams we have created; not just in our individual work, but in how we work together and communicate.
