About Me
Hello,
My name is Hamza Daudali and I am a 4th year medical student at the University of Glasgow. I am currently in the 4th year of my medical degree at the University of Glasgow. I am incredibly passionate about teaching and helping students be as successful as they can be. I scored within the top 20% of medical students in my first year and even achieved the highest possible grade in many pieces of assessment. I have scored top 1% nationally in the UCAT exam with a score of 3150 (averaging 787 in each section.) I have also achieved 3 A* grades at A-Level in Biology, Chemistry and Maths, while ranking 2nd in my school in Chemistry and receiving an award for the best grades in my school. I also scored in the top 10% nationally for the BMAT exam and achieved 3 offers out of the 4 medical schools I applied to with offers from Bristol, Exeter and Glasgow.
Outside of academics, I am passionate about medical education and sit on many committees helping with widening participation to help people from all backgrounds enter a career in medicine. I also enjoy playing football and cricket as well acting in local theatre and debating through Model United Nations events. I also have achieved a first class degree in medical sciences in previous years.
Overall, I hope that you would give me the opportunity to support your child in getting into medical school or support with their exams as I believe I am in hardworking tutor with an overriding dedication to ensuring students get the best that they can possibly achieve. Many of my students have achieved highly impressive scores in their A-level exams, Interviews and UCAT examinations and I hope I get the chance to support your child to achieve their ambitions.
My teaching style
My teaching style is a combination of focusing on helping students access exam questions while also helping develop an interest in the subject that I am teaching. I frequently develop analogies to make the content more understandable to students, and integrate revision tips and advise in order to make the outer lesson revision and studying easier for the student. I use the whiteboard function to annotate the slides and to provide extra information that may be of interest and help students answer the harder more application based questions. This technique has proven incredibly popular with students as can be seen by the number of positive reviews that I have received from previous students. I believe exam technique focused lessons will not only help improve the scores that you are achieving but also help develop a greater understanding of the subject matter that you are learning for.
My past experience
I have taught at medic mind for the past year and have positive reviews from most of the students that I have tutored. I have tutored over 1500 hours for medic mind and this has helped me develop my tutoring ability.
