I am a recent graduate from the University of Leeds with a First Class Honours in BA Geography and going onto study a Masters Degree in Conflict and Development in September. I have a great passion for education and would love to help other students reach their full potential academically. I have in the past struggled at school to achieve my full potential and looking back now, it was the support from tutors and certain teaching styles that led to me receiving all 7,8,9s at GCSE and a full set of A*s at A-Level, despite the impacts of being a student during the pandemic. I work part time alongside my studies at a bar and often work in a team of people who range in ages whilst serving customers from a range of backgrounds, massively aiding my communication skills. Coming from a family of teachers and having done work in schools I am aware of the difficulties faced by a lot of young people today and would love to help students enjoy learning and reach their full potential.
