I get it. I’ve been in your shoes, 4 years ago. I went from a struggling student in school to one of the highest achievers at my university. So, I understand all levels of difficulty. I have started to not just understand math and physics at a fundamental level, but also enjoy it! And I hope to recreate the same experience for you.
I get your struggles, and I’m here to customize lessons just for you, creating a laid-back yet focused environment where questions aren’t just welcome but encouraged. I have experience teaching starting out from GCSE level right up to university level math and physics. I’ve always aimed on creating a rapport with the students I tutor in order to make it a more positive and friendly experience.
Hence, I would love to simplify complex concepts and boost confidence – thereby covering all aspects of the specification in a detailed yet simplified manner.
My teaching style
I incorporate an abundance of practice questions into my teaching approach, striking a well-rounded mix of collaborative review and independent study. My aim is to be highly approachable, adapting to your preferred learning method to ensure you maximize the benefits from our sessions.
My past experience
I have gained a considerable amount of teaching experience over the last couple of years through various different outlets such as 1-to-1 tutoring sessions, flipped classrooms and mentoring opportunities at university. It leaves me immensely gratified to know that most of my students end up achieving the goals they want, whilst enjoying the process,
My Proudest Achievements
Starting off with rocky foundations in math and the sciences pre-GCSE, my proudest achievement would now definitely be having come to a point where I am soon to be graduating with a first-class Engineering degree with honors – and having achieved top scores in Math and Physics throughout GCSE and A-levels.
I believe that I was able to make a stark difference to my grades by simply changing up my learning styles and have now mastered simplifying most concepts – a skill that I aim to transfer onto every student I tutor.
