40About Me
I am an enthusiastic and dedicated educator with a strong academic background from top institutions. I hold a PGCE in Primary Education with a specialism in Computing from University College London (UCL) and an MSc in Finance and Economics from the London School of Economics (LSE). Currently, I am an ECT Year 2 Class Teacher at Aldborough Primary School, where I have successfully implemented lessons in computing, science, and cultural studies.
Before transitioning into teaching, I gained valuable analytical and problem-solving skills as an independent futures trader. My experience at UCL, combined with hands-on classroom practice, has equipped me with the tools to foster learning and growth in young minds. I am excited to bring my passion for education and my academic expertise into a tutoring role, helping students excel and develop a genuine love for learning.
My teaching style
My teaching style is focused, targeted, and patient, tailored to each student’s needs. Drawing on my academic background from UCL and LSE, I deliver clear, structured lessons that emphasize key concepts. I prioritize patience, breaking down complex ideas into manageable steps and creating a supportive environment where students feel confident to ask questions and engage fully. My goal is to help students succeed academically while fostering a genuine love for learning.
My Proudest Achievements
One of my proudest achievements is performing Chinese traditional dances during the Chinese New Year celebrations in London, especially at Trafalgar Square two years ago. It was an incredible experience to share my culture with a diverse audience in such an iconic location, and it reinforced my passion for both dance and cultural expression.
