About Me
Hi! I’m Subi. I am so excited to meet you all and join you in your journey to your dream course! Having lacked support myself when I was applying, I know exactly what prospective students will be worried about and where you guys need help in. Therefore, I’m more than happy to offer my full support and help you throughout your application process. I will help you recognise your own strengths and guide you to express that in your application, which is what’s going to make you stand out. So, if you like to problem solve and work through the answers together, rather than be given the answers, I’m your tutor! Your learning experience will be a fun and relaxed environment and you can feel free to ask me any questions, either in the lesson or on text. I have taught many students, including graduates, so I believe I can meet all your needs of a tutor.
My teaching style
I’ve never been someone that just gives the answers as that doesn’t help anyone. With my students, I let them have a go first as more than not, they have some sort of idea. Then, we discuss how they got to the answers and I like to ask prompt questions to see if they can pull out any more ideas. Finally, we go through the answers and I’ll explain anything they don’t understand. I also share a document where we can both add notes of key points to it- revision etc. I schedule out my lessons so that I prioritise the main topics first, then as the lessons progresses, we do more questions and mocks. I can’t wait to work with you!
