About Me

I am a First Class Honours graduate in BEng Biomedical Engineering from Queen Mary University of London, and I am now pursuing a degree in Medicine. This combination gives me a unique academic edge — bridging the gap between engineering, science, and medicine, and allowing me to bring a logical, structured, and insightful approach to teaching.

I have a strong academic foundation across Sciences, Maths, and English, and I’m passionate about helping students reach their full potential — particularly those aspiring to study Medicine or other STEM courses.

My lessons are always well-prepared, tailored to each student’s needs, and focused on building confidence and excellence. I ensure that students not only master the content but also develop the critical thinking and communication skills essential for medical interviews and university applications.

I’m known for being professional, approachable, and flexible with my hours — making sure every student feels supported, motivated, and inspired to achieve outstanding results.

My teaching style

My teaching style is supportive, structured, and highly personalised. I begin by identifying each student’s strengths and areas for improvement, then create tailored lessons that build confidence and mastery step by step. I use clear explanations, practical examples, and interactive discussions to make complex topics engaging and easy to understand. I also focus on exam and interview techniques, helping students think critically and communicate effectively — essential skills for Medicine and STEM success. Above all, I ensure every student feels encouraged and motivated to achieve their best.

My past experience

Yes, I have several years of tutoring experience across Sciences, Maths, and English, working with students from GCSE to university level. I have also mentored aspiring medical students, helping them with personal statements, admissions tests, and interview preparation — many of whom went on to secure offers from top UK medical schools, including Oxbridge. In addition, I have organised STEM outreach events and university tours to inspire younger students. My experience has taught me how to adapt my teaching style to suit different learners and help each one build confidence and achieve their goals.

My Proudest Achievements

Earning a First Class Honours in Biomedical Engineering from Queen Mary University of London and being accepted into Medicine — as the first in my family to study Medicine — are among my proudest achievements. I’m also proud of mentoring students who have successfully gained places at top universities, including for Medicine and STEM courses. Additionally, I’ve led STEM outreach programmes and university tours to inspire young learners — seeing my students grow in confidence and achieve their goals is incredibly rewarding.
