Chaitanya
About Me
Hi! I’m Chaitanya and I am currently studying Medicine at GKT School of Medical Education. I’m an international student from India and did the International Baccalaureate in 2020 achieving a 40/45 with a 7,7,6 in my HLs. I have been tutoring for about 3 years now so I can really relate to how stressful the process of applying for medicine is. My interest in Medicine sparked from my fascination with the human body and its tricksy intricacies. My work experience further elucidated the skills that were required to be a doctor and highlighted the dedication and empathy that each doctor had for their patients; and it finally solidified my decision to apply for medicine. I also have a keen interest in research as a result of the research I was a part of in high school and am currently also getting involved in research at university. Apart from that, I’m a sports enthusiast and love playing cricket, volleyball and doing martial arts. You can also find me relaxing with video games or TV shows!
I look forward to working together to help put you on track to be a future doctor too.
My teaching style
My teaching style is a very interactive one, where I attempt to tailor the content to each and every student and their way of learning so that they can best understand it. I also adopt a reflective style of teaching to bridge any areas of weakness for students while also ensuring I’m constantly improving the way I teach.
My past experience
In the past, I have tutored students for the SAT and have also tutored students for IB and IGCSE Chemistry, Physics, Maths and Biology. I also worked with an autistic boy and helped improved his skills of attentiveness.
