About Me
My name is Ellie and I am a final year BA Law student at the University of Oxford. I have over 4 years tutoring experience. I previously graduated from the University of Birmingham in Biomedical Science with a 1st class degree. I have previously run revision sessions at my previous university so have relevant experience.
I applied for Law, starting 2022, so I have recent, relevant experience in LNAT preparation, all of which I did independently. Following this, I received an interview and offer at the University of Oxford to study Law. I am an ambitious student and am a co-producer of a podcast called ‘Law Talks’, which provides advice for aspiring law students.
I am an enthusiastic and organised helper and happy to be flexible to your specific needs. Let me know what sort of style you are looking for and we can tailor sessions to suit you. I think a crucial part of revision and exam preparation is confidence in oneself, so I will ensure we go at a pace that supports your learning style, building your self-confidence as we go.
My teaching style
I can run a range of different sessions; going over previous work and applications, going over set work or talking through theories and concepts that are particularly challenging. I am organised and will set out a clear revision plan for however many sessions you would prefer to ensure that goals are reached.
My past experience
I have now tutored for the LNAT, among other subjects, for over 4 years, while also running study skills sessions at my university. I have additionally helped students prepare personal statements and run practice interviews, and support students at my secondary school as a Law Admissions Advisor.
My Proudest Achievements
My proudest achievements are my strong academic profile throughout A Levels that has continued during my time at university. I am particularly proud of achieving a mini-pupillage law placement when I was a non-law student.
