About Me
Hi I’m Hayley and I have been teaching for over 16 years. I specialise in special educational needs and disabilities.
I enjoy working with parents and young learners using the eHCP targets to create a bespoke learning experience to achieve targets.
I am approachable, friendly and can listen which helps those with anxiety.
I enjoy using a variety of tools to use in lessons, I try to include interests and hobbies to engage the learners and have experience encouraging reluctant writers to enjoy learning.
I have my own children who have been or are still going through school settings so I am able to have a parent perspective on the difficulties getting young learners in the right settings and the difficulties they can face.
I look forward to meeting you to work together with your child to make a learning plan.
My teaching style
Varied depending on the needs of the individual, one size does not fit all.
I am adaptable and enjoy finding ways to make learning fun. I also have been used in mentoring roles to keep a positive relationship with young learners who are facing certain challenges at school.
My Proudest Achievements
My proudest achievement will be when I can help to integrate a young learner back into the educational setting of their choice.
