About Me
Hello! My name is Eva and I am a Law graduate from the University of Cambridge. I have been tutoring for over 4 years and have helped many students get the grades that they want through personalised feedback and personal support. My students have ranged from primary school students to sixth-formers about to sit their A-Levels. I got 8 A*s and 2 As for GCSEs, 3 A*s for A-Levels (and A* in EPQ) and got full marks in my interview at Cambridge. I also got a score of 30 for my LNAT. I use my knowledge to push my students to achieve their best and I am passionate about getting you to where you want to be. I have helped over 15 students get into Oxbridge since I have been tutoring and all of them have benefited from my personal statement support as well as my mock interviews. Having completed 3 years of Law, I have an excellent eye for detail and a lot of skills that you as my student can take advantage of. As a tutor, I am an open book and always here to help and answer your questions!
My teaching style
My teaching styles focuses on student engagement and I cater to their various learning requirements. I encourage active learning and communicate my ideas clearly and effectively, making it easy for the student to understand. I recognise that students have different capacities, interests and learning styles. Therefore, I make sure to take into account these individual variances by employing a range of teaching techniques and offering alternate strategies to students. I also give regular feedback and monitor the progress of my students so that they can be sure of how to improve.
My past experience
Yes I have been tutoring pupils since year 12, from primary students to A-Level students. I have also tutored some first year university students with Law.
My Proudest Achievements
One of my proudest achievements is getting over 15 people into Cambridge through tutoring sessions and hard-work, both on my part and theirs. I am also proud to have been in the top 20 for the Linklaters Essay Competition Award, a Law essay competition that required research and essay writing. Finally, getting full marks in my Cambridge exam and interview was also one of my proudest achievements.
