21About Me
I’m a confident, lively and highly skilled teacher with over a decade of experience teaching all abilities over KS1 and KS2. I’ve been through many observations and OFSTED inspections and I have always been rated as “outstanding”. One of the best comments I received from an OFSTED inspector was “You are so engaging, I believe you could teach anything to anyone. The class were in the palm of your hand”.
This is due to my focused work ethic which quickly identifies areas that need progression and then my engaging teaching style, which is friendly and fun but expects concentration, hard work and high standards.
I know how to capture a student’s attention and engage them. I believe this to be an essential skill as the only way to progression is through absolute engagement. I can adapt to the needs of each individual pupil and focus on those area which need work and ensure understanding becomes strong.
I can help you with Maths, English, Reading and SPAG and work on the necessary skills and knowledge ready for SAT tests.

My teaching style
I ensure my lessons are focused and well-paced, but this is maximised due to my excellent ability to ENGAGE. I am a lively, fun and inspiring teacher who pushes his students to be the best they can be. I find that what I put into my lessons, I receive back. Teaching is a thrill for me and nothing is more satisfying.
My past experience
I have been teaching for over ten years in various schools, with different pupil backgrounds and abilities. Most of my experience has been with KS2 but I have also spent a few years teaching KS1 and EYFS. I also tutor several children in my own successful independent business.
My Proudest Achievements
My proudest achievements have been seeing children progress not just as students but as human beings. I have the skills necessary to progress a child academically and help them achieve their potential but also aid their maturity and relate to them on an appropriate level. Nothing fills me with more pride than to see my students flourish in all aspects of their school life, I know I had an important hand in that development.
