About Me
I hold an MSc in Social Anthropology from the University of Oxford, where my research focused on how group-based practices and therapeutic communities can support wellbeing and personal growth. Through this work, I gained a strong understanding of human behaviour, social dynamics, and the value of collaborative learning environments. Alongside my academic studies, I have supported students through mentoring and tutoring, helping them improve their writing, refine their arguments, and prepare effectively for university-level work. Having successfully navigated the Oxford admissions process myself, I know what top universities are looking for and how students can present their strengths with clarity and confidence. I enjoy working with students at all levels—whether they are preparing for interviews, polishing essays, or simply building a deeper understanding of anthropology. My aim is to make complex ideas accessible, engaging, and relevant, while fostering independent thinking and intellectual curiosity.
My teaching style
My teaching style is supportive, structured, and tailored to each student. I focus on breaking down complex ideas into clear steps, encouraging questions, and building confidence through practice and feedback. I combine academic rigor with an approachable, conversational style so students feel both challenged and supported.
My past experience
Yes. At Copenhagen Business School, I worked as a mentor supporting both individuals and groups of students. This involved helping them with study strategies, academic writing, and navigating university life. I also gained experience leading larger teams through my role managing a student organisation of around 30 members, where I developed skills in facilitation and group guidance. Currently, I tutor high school students in Denmark, focusing on essay writing and exam preparation. These experiences have taught me how to adapt my teaching style to different levels and contexts, and how to create a supportive yet structured learning environment.
