About Me
Hi! I’m Beheshta a medical student at the university of Oxford. I achieved all A*s at both A levels and GCSE. Being the first person from my school to attend Oxford I want to show others that our “aspirational” dreams can in fact be realistic ones. I have a passion for teaching and inspiring students and studying at Oxford has increased this. My experience at University has affirmed my belief in the fact the Oxford can be a place for everyone regardless of their background and with the right motivation and skills I believe anyone can have a good shot at securing an interview and offer.
Outside of my degree I enjoy taking part in sport, baking / cooking and socialising. During my A leveps I also took up an interest in Sociology and came to understand the importance of sociology within medicine. As a good doctor is not someone who can simply memorise face but someone who also understands society.
My teaching style
My teaching style consists of 3 key components:
1) Ensuring the student understands the core concepts and all the knowledge needed for a given topic using their specification
2) Transferring this knowledge to exam style questions and employing exam techniques
3) Tactics for memorisation of the content and how to adapt it to different exam questions

My Proudest Achievements
My proudest achievements include studying at the university ranked best in the world for medicine and being the first from my school to attend this university, representing my borough in the middlesex championships and London mini marathon from my time training as an athlete.
