About Me
Hi there,
My name is Aaron and I’m a fourth year medical student at ICL. I remember how stressful the medical application process can be and I felt my experience gave me insight as to what interviewers are looking for and key tips for all stages of the application process and I want to help make it easier for those in the same position I was in last year.
I have always done well in my academics but I more importantly have the ability to personalise how I teach a topic,. I have prior teaching experience and also from my own teachers I have been able to understand what it means to carry out a good lesson.
I am also someone who is friendly and engaging and want to make every student of mine feel comfortable to express any doubts they have and make sure they learn what they intended from the lesson.
If you’re looking to ace your medical interviews, entrance exams or improve your grades, I want to help you on that journey!
My teaching style
I would use the first couple of minutes of our time together to familiarise myself with you and they way you feel you are best suited to learn. I view lessons as something that needs to be interactive and engaging and more importantly centred around you, the student; whether that is through constant practice of question or rather studying model answers, I can adapt to your needs. I am a firm believer in working smart and rather than just constant repetition of the same technique I would change up my teaching style if the student still shows any doubts.
My past experience
I have past experience teaching Maths and the Scineces up to a GCSE level at a tuition centre and have also assisted students in entrance exams such as the BMAT, UCAT
My Proudest Achievements
I am very proud of my grades, they are the result of a lot of resilience and understanding to work smarter rather than harder.
I am especially proud of leading a student campaign for the ‘Teach For India’ organisation where me and my team conducted fundraisers and raised awareness for our cause to our peers and the local communities, as a result we raised over £1000 for the charity over the span of three weeks.
I was in my secondary and sixth form badminton teams and also won some tournaments.
