8About Me
My name is Tao Alexandra Swain and I am a 4th year medical student at the Hull York Medical School. With one year left until I graduate as an NHS trained Doctor, I can bring real-world insight into students medical school interview training. I have had numerous interview offers, both of which I have aced and failed, which gives me a unique insight into exactly what medical schools desire from their aspiring students. I have 2 years experience as an interview tutor, where all of my student successfully made it into medical school from their interviews! I LOVE medical school and everything that it has entailed; so much so that I want to help other students who, like me may not have the ‘perfect’ application, and really need to ace their interviews. I was born in London, but have had an international upbringing in Switzerland and Spain, and can therefore also speak German and Spanish to supplement where required.
My teaching style
We will be looking at practise questions and doing mini-mock interviews. I like my students being engaged and interested; if they are typing on their laptop in the background something has gone wrong!!
My past experience
2 years tutoring experience for medical school interviews, as well as helping students apply to medical school as a Hull York Medical School Ambassador.
My Proudest Achievements
