About Me
I am a second-year physics student at the University of Cambridge, passionate about making complex scientific ideas accessible and engaging. My experience spans tutoring, organizing international physics competitions, and conducting cutting-edge research at CERN or IBM. I have helped students succeed in university admissions, guiding them through challenging physics and mathematics concepts with a clear, structured approach.
Beyond tutoring, I co-organized the Physics Brawl, the world’s largest team-based physics competition, with over 1,200 teams from 60+ countries. I have also produced educational videos that simplify advanced physics topics, making them accessible to pre-university students. My research at CERN on the proANUBIS particle detector has deepened my expertise in experimental physics and data analysis.
In addition to academic achievements, I have secured multiple scholarships and awards, recognizing both my academic excellence and contributions to education. My experience with competitive exams and scholarship applications allows me to help students not just master their subjects but also maximize their potential in securing educational opportunities.
My teaching style
Building strong, supportive relationships with students is at the core of my teaching style. I create an engaging and respectful learning environment that fosters both academic excellence and personal growth. My approach is interactive, encouraging curiosity and critical thinking. I tailor lessons to each student’s needs, ensuring they grasp complex mathematics and physics concepts while also exploring topics beyond the syllabus, such as particle physics, group theory or quantum physics. By incorporating real-world applications and problem-solving techniques, I make learning both effective and inspiring.
My past experience
I have extensive experience tutoring friends and students, helping them prepare for university admissions, conducting mock interviews, and leading review sessions. My informal and formal tutoring has covered IB Physics, advanced mathematics, and beyond. Through mentoring, I have helped students improve their confidence and understanding of complex topics while refining my own communication and teaching methods.
My Proudest Achievements
I co-organized the Physics Brawl, the world’s largest physics team competition with 1,200+ teams from over 60 countries. Additionally, I created educational videos simplifying complex scientific concepts for pre-university students. My current research internship at CERN focuses on particle tracking and dark matter, reinforcing my passion for both physics and education.
