About Me
My name is Hannah! I currently study Chemistry at the University of Glasgow as my main elective, while also studying mathematics and biology as my other two electives. I am a passionate student in learning and in helping others and extremely enthusiastic to help other students. I offer great communication skills from previous and current part time jobs. I empathise with the pressure of wanting to do the best you can in subjects you are doing at school and wanting to do well in them for future plans. I want to help alleviate that stress for students through tutoring with the knowledge I have gained from school and university. I feel I can be relatable for those still in school and it may make it easier for learning. My friends and siblings regularly ask me to explain topics for them in their GCSE and A-Level revision.
My teaching style
Learning what someone is not understanding in the course, using diagrams and analogies to help explain these topics. Then asking them to explain a topic back to me or asking them questions around the topic to see if they understand what I have been tutoring them. I also use past papers to help consolidate knowledge.
