Finn
About Me
Hi, my name is Finn and I am looking to start tutoring after recently graduating from the University of Bristol.
I have various experiences working with young people and I am comfortable communicating complex ideas and making the content engaging. My academic experience means I will be comfortable understanding and teaching the content. I enjoy teaching and supporting young people and look forward to doing this with my tutoring.
I have dedicated my time to building a wealth of resources to support my teaching and I am passionate about the subjects I tutor. I will spend time planning each session with students so that is tailored towards their needs. I am extremely technologically adept and am most comfortable taking online sessions. This allows me to take advantage of online resources and I have the facilities to interact with students with avenues such as online textbooks, presentations and worksheets .I work towards the syllabus of each course using a smiley face indicator. This ensures that the young person is comfortable with all aspects of the course.
My teaching style
My teaching style is interactive and tailored to each student’s individual needs. I aim to simplify complex topics by breaking them into manageable steps and incorporating real-world examples to make learning relatable and engaging. I focus on building a student’s confidence alongside their academic ability, ensuring they not only understand the material but can apply it effectively in exams and beyond.
My Proudest Achievements
Getting into a Russell Group University and completing a 10,000 word Political dissertation.
