16About Me
I am a medical student with a BSc in Chemistry.
I know the A-levels, leaving cert and doing the GAMSAT can be a very frustrating times. I offer a “How to study seminar” with all the techniques I used, and study methods to achieved 560 in the leaving cert. I can also provide insight on why my grades fell for the actual leaving cert and bestow the knowledge of the importance of balance in exam years
Personally, I am first year university student in Limerick studying Medicine. This is my fifth year of college and have tried pretty much every study technique imaginable. I have worked out exactly which one’s work and which ones don’t.
I love the outdoors and my my sports in kayaking. I train for races as well as studying for medicine. I can honestly say, I’ve never been so fulfilled. Creating smarter ways to study is essential for a work like balance while studying medicine.
My teaching style
I have been a tutor for a year on different websites. My approach involves explaining hard concepts with everyday life examples and catering for each child’s specific need. I help the student identify the areas they need help with, and work with them to achieve their specific goals.
100% exam focused.
For the exams, I will be modelling my curriculum off exam papers so that the students receive focused tutoring. Along with my study methods to guide the students, I show the students how to achieve top grades using my experience, as a B1 was the lowest grade I received in my leaving cert.
My Proudest Achievements
I consider getting my degree, and traveling alone to Canada, France and Hawaii by greatest achievements. I’m a whitewater kayaker and had the opportunity to kayak all over the world. I learned that personal achievements are just as important as academic. You can dedicate time to both, and get results in both.
