About Me
After years of helping organisations navigate environmental sustainability risks and opportunities—across the arts and culture sector with Arts Council England, and in corporate ESG and community investment at RSA Insurance Group, Macquarie Group, and Slaughter and May—I am now focused educating the next generation.
Currently, I support first year university students as an external partner at London Interdisciplinary School (LIS) on inclusive environmental policy making.
I am also supporting the Motivez Sustainable London programme through project-based learning for year 10 students in their 2 day hackathon event where 30 students and their mentors work to create innovative solutions to local sustainability and climate issues using STEM as the main driver.
In my work at Julie’s Bicycle, I led environmental reporting and qualitative research efforts that helped secure £1.2 million in Arts Council England funding to deliver the national Environmental Programme for NPO organisations.
In 2022, I earned a full-ride scholarship to pursue a Master’s in Global Development and Environment at the University of Bristol, where I self-managed and led international research in 2023 in Accra, Ghana. My on-the-ground work in Ghana’s Kantamanto Market provided critical socio-economic insights into the informal second-hand fashion trade and the systemic drivers of textile waste.

My teaching style
I prefer to teach students through high engagement methods of participatory learning.
For me, it is important the students have strong critical thinking skills, so I employ Bloom’s taxonomy as learning criteria as I teach.
This is to ensure that students are not just recalling facts but are pushed to high analysis, evaluation and coming up with their own novel ideas.
In order to do this, project-based learning and introducing different perspectives can support students reaching higher levels of understanding of a subject.
My Proudest Achievements
My on the ground research in Kantamanto market. It was incredible experience, I made great connections on the ground with informal workers and it deepened my work on environmental policy
