14About Me
Hi! I’m an enthusiastic English and Drama tutor based in London. I personally went through the iGCSE and IB systems, so I know exactly what you are going through with your academics! But my skills and teaching styles are adaptable for all kinds of curriculums and age groups.
I finished secondary school with a 41 in the IBDP, with 7s in HL Theatre and English Language & Literature. In 2023, I graduated from UCL with a degree in English and multiple academic commendations throughout my time. I was taught to think beyond the mark scheme and to learn a skill that is specific to the way we each see the world – and this is the way I teach.
I can also tutor for drama school (musical theatre), UCAS/US university personal statements. Outside of tutoring, I am a professional actor who has also worked in the advertising world.
My teaching style
I enjoy getting to know what my students are naturally passionate about and it is even okay if English isn’t their favourite subject! I value honing each individual student’s craft, talent and voice. I am happy to teach online or in-person, but wifi access is essential to each session.
My past experience
I am currently a tutor at a private center looking to expand where and who I teach.
My Proudest Achievements
As a tutor, I am proudest of getting one of my earliest IB students to a 45 for their English exams and Extended Essay!
