About Me

I have just finished my gap year, teaching at an elite English private school. I received 3 A*s at A-Level and an A*in my EPQ. Having taken my A-Levels recently, I am well versed in how best to learn content. I know the intricacies of the specification and have firsthand knowledge on how best to tackle these exams. I received three offers for veterinary medicine. I received an offer from every institute that I had an interview at. I know the type of questions that crop up at these interviews, and how best to answer them. I can pass on my comprehensive knowledge of the application and interview process. I have undertaken several hundred hours of interview preparation myself. So, rest assured I know that I will be a tremendous help in your road to academic success. Tutoring is my highest priority. Therefore, any lessons with yourself would take priority in my diary. This would mean that you can have continuity, and any questions answered that very day. I have had 100% of my tutees get accepted into their first choice university, having had multiple lessons with myself. I am certain that I would guide you to academic excellence. I placed in the top 10% of my cohort in my most recent veterinary exams. I therefore have expertise in both interview technique as well as academic excellence in the course you wish to study.

My teaching style

In my A- levels. I received 3 A*s, scoring 100% UMS in chemistry and 99.7% UMS in biology. My lessons aim to engage and develop a students understanding of the subject, whilst also encouraging them to have a passion for the subject. I use zoom or Microsoft teams for my lessons. I use a variety of trusted resources in addition to my own notes and questions. I encourage students to learn via application of the theory that I will teach. Like with anything, practice is key, I will give students tasks to complete outside of lessons, as independently applying the content taught, is pivotal to acing exams.

My past experience

I have spent 4 months teaching at an elite English private school. This has been with children of a range of abilities. This has made me adaptable, and therefore I can tailor my teaching style to each person’s individuality. I have now been tutoring for a 2 years. So, you can be confident that I have all the relevant experience and knowledge, to help you reach your goals.

My Proudest Achievements

My proudest achievements are both academic and non-academic. Receiving my A-Level results and seeing 4 A*s made me immensely proud, as it was a testament to my hard work and effort. Similarly, receiving 3 offers for veterinary medicine has also been a proud achievement of mine, due to the extremely challenging and competitive application process. Finally, medaling at the National Schools rowing regatta and British Junior Rowing Championships, in the same year, was a great feeling as my hard work had paid off.
