About Me
am an experienced tutor with over five years of teaching Science and English Language & Literature. I have successfully supported students preparing for 11+ entrance exams, as well as those working towards their GCSEs and A levels. I hold a BSc in Medical Sciences and am currently studying postgraduate Medicine.
Having completed my own GCSEs and A-Levels, and with experience supporting younger siblings, I have a strong understanding of different curriculums and exam boards, including AQA, OCR, Edexcel, and WJEC. I stay up to date with the latest changes to ensure my students are well-prepared for success. My passion for education, combined with my scientific background, allows me to simplify complex topics, making learning both engaging and effective.
I ensure that each individual student is engaged by setting regular homework and keeping lessons interactive. An array of teaching styles are incorporated to achieve the best results.
My teaching style
My teaching style is adaptable to suit each student’s individual needs, using a variety of methods such as textbooks, interactive resources, and past paper practice to maximise their potential. With my guidance, many students have achieved their goal results at GCSE and A-Level.
