About Me

I am a Master of Pharmacy (MPharm) degree graduate with extensive experience working in multidisciplinary teams in both community and hospital settings. Currently, I am also a 4th-year medical student at Barts and The London, a highly esteemed medical school, where I continue to build on my clinical expertise and academic foundation.

My dual background in pharmacy and medicine allows me to offer a unique and comprehensive perspective to my students. I have successfully coached all graduate applicants through the rigorous medical school admissions process, helping them gain entry and embark on their medical journey.

Over the years, I have developed a strong passion for teaching, tailoring my approach to meet the needs of learners across various ages and educational levels. My goal is to create an engaging and supportive learning environment that fosters understanding, confidence, and success. Whether you need guidance in the basic sciences pharmacy, medicine, or application processes, I am here to help you excel.

My teaching style

My teaching style is highly interactive, engaging, and student-centered. I focus on breaking down complex concepts into manageable pieces, using practical examples, worked problems, and relatable analogies to ensure understanding. I often incorporate videos and other visual aids to make learning dynamic and accessible.

I believe in empowering my students to develop independence and confidence in their abilities. My approach can be likened to being a coach: I guide and support my students as they learn to “walk,” providing encouragement and direction, and cheer them on as they gain the skills to “run” on their own.

Ultimately, my goal is to equip my students with the tools and mindset they need to succeed without me. By fostering critical thinking and self-reliance, I help them build a strong foundation that enables lifelong learning and achievement.

My Proudest Achievements

My proudest achievement as a tutor is the consistent success of my students. Every student I have taught—whether preparing for the 11+ exams or navigating the challenging medical school application process—has achieved their personal goals.

Seeing my students reach these milestones, fostering their growth, and helping them build the skills and confidence to succeed, knowing I’ve played a part in their journey, brings me immense pride and fulfillment.
