Hi! I’m Meerab, a current 2nd year English student at the University of Cambridge. Coming from a working-class, state school and British-Pakistani background, I want to encourage students who may the first in their families to pursue higher education to feel confident enough to apply to elite institutions such as Oxbridge. As well as studying English at Cambridge, I have a year of experience in studying Classics at Cambridge, before my decision to switch courses to English and so have gone through the Oxbridge admissions process twice. However, I am still extremely passionate about Classics and excited to tutor students in both subjects!

In my journey to Cambridge, I was able to achieve all A* at A-level and GCSE (except one 7 in Art!) despite being a student that struggled with work-load, time management and stress all throughout secondary school and sixth form. Therefore, I want to help students who may be currently struggling with such aspects of studying to help them excel in these difficult and formative years of education, as I was able to.
