About Me
Hi! I’m Esther and I’m a third year international student from New York studying dentistry at Queen Mary University of London. Applying to dental schools is arguably one of the most daunting processes you’ll ever have to go through and having gone through it practically alone as an international student, I definitely know what it feels like!
Everyone’s journey to dental school will look different but I will be here to guide you and offer as much help and assistance as I can. From tips and strategies for the UCAT to learning how to paint a picture of yourself to interviewers, I’ll be able to help with every step of the process. As long as you remember to show universities who you are as a person and who you can become as a future dentist, you’ll eventually end up where you’re meant to be 🙂
My teaching style
My teaching style is largely dependent on the student themselves. As a visual learner myself, I find it very difficult to learn using other learning styles. Everyone learns in a different way so I will try my best to adapt my teaching style to accommodate each student’s individual needs.
My past experience
Yes! I have tutored everything from Mandarin to piano to subjects such as science and math before. I often volunteered as a tutor during my high school years and at my church. My first part-time job was actually as a piano teacher for young kids! Needless to say, I’ve had my fair share of tutoring experience in the past and I’m so excited to begin tutoring for the UCAT and interviews.
My Proudest Achievements
My proudest achievement to date is definitely getting into one of the top dental schools in the world. It was a long and HARD journey but I made it and I could not be prouder!
