About Me
Hello, I’m Anum!
I’m currently a BSc Psychology student at Birmingham City University and have over 5 years of experience working in the field of education. During this time, I’ve had the privilege of supporting students across a wide range of ages and skill levels, from primary through to secondary school. I’m passionate about helping learners thrive and truly believe that every student can reach their full potential with the right guidance and encouragement.
Alongside my studies, I’m currently working with the NHS as an Honorary Assistant Psychologist, where I support individuals with learning disabilities. This experience has deepened my understanding of inclusive practice and strengthened my commitment to making learning accessible and meaningful for everyone.
I’m always here to support and inspire—let’s achieve great things together!
My teaching style
My teaching philosophy centres on creating a positive and engaging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and growing academically and personally. I’m here to assist you in achieving your academic goals, whether it’s improving your understanding of a challenging subject, preparing for exams, or honing your study skills.
I tutor the following subjects from primary school to IGCSE/GCSE ONLY:
Mathematics

I am also willing to help students with preparation towards their EPQs.

My Proudest Achievements
One of my proudest achievements is working with a diverse range of students over the past 5 years and seeing them grow in confidence and ability. I’m also incredibly proud of my current role with the NHS as an Honorary Assistant Psychologist, where I support individuals with learning disabilities—this has been both rewarding and deeply meaningful.
