About Me

I’m a passionate tutor with experience in a wide range of subjects. I am outgoing and enjoy helping students develop confidence and clarity in their learning.

I tailor my lessons to each student’s level, pace, and goals, making sure they not only understand the material but also enjoy the process. Whether you’re preparing for exams, building foundational skills, or simply want to improve, I’m here to support and guide you. Rather than simply providing answers, I guide students to discover them through carefully chosen examples, thought experiments, and counterexamples. I pay close attention to each student’s strengths and areas for improvement, adapting my approach accordingly—whether that means breaking down complex arguments into manageable parts or pushing advanced students to explore beyond the syllabus. I also stress the importance of revision, feedback, and intellectual humility. Mistakes are treated as learning opportunities, and I aim to foster confidence through mastery rather than shortcuts. Ultimately, my goal is to cultivate both independent thinking and disciplined analysis, so that students leave not just knowing more, but reasoning better.

Feel free to reach out—I look forward to learning together!

My teaching style

My teaching style is student-centered, rigorous, and adaptive. I aim to create a space where students are actively engaged in the learning process rather than passive recipients of information. I emphasize clarity and structure, especially in subjects like philosophy and mathematics, where precision is key. I encourage students to ask questions, challenge assumptions, and articulate their reasoning both verbally and in writing.

My past experience

Yes I have taught mathematics Olympiad classes in school and has tutored a lot since coming to university.

My Proudest Achievements

I’m also proud of supporting students through particularly demanding periods—whether it’s preparing for finals, overcoming academic self-doubt, or navigating interdisciplinary topics. Several of my students have gone on to win academic prizes or secure places in competitive postgraduate programs, but what matters most to me is that they come to see themselves as thinkers capable of making meaningful contributions.
