1About Me
A highly experienced Masters level and DELTA qualified ELT teacher who has worked across many different contexts including British Council accredited schools in the UK and abroad in and around Europe.
Has an extensive online teaching background specialising in teaching Business English, English for Specific Purposes, Academic English (EAP) and exam preparation in IELTS, FCE and CAE exams.
In particular, has been trained directly by Cambridge to assess and deliver the speaking and writing tests for IELTS as well as gaining certification in TEAP (Teaching English for Academic Purposes) in order to help prepare students on pre-sessional courses for studying degrees at UK universities.
Core strengths include competent classroom management skills, writing detailed and comprehensive lesson plans, creating a good rapport with students, selecting and writing appropriate and engaging materials for lessons and an excellent knowledge of language structure.
My teaching style
A hybrid teaching style which combines elements of different teaching approaches to create a flexible and adaptive learning environment. It incorporates both teacher-led instruction and student-centered activities.
My Proudest Achievements
Becoming a qualified teacher with an MA TESOL, dipTESOL and Trinity certTESOL. In addition, I have helped many people pass their English exams including IELTS, FCE, CAE and OET tests.
