I am a 3rd year Medicine student at St Anne’s College, University of Oxford. I’m passionate about helping students achieve their goals, especially those aiming to study Medicine. I specialise in the medical school application process, offering excellent support with UCAT, personal statements, and especially Oxford interview preparation. I offer useful and practical tips, mock interviews, and personalised feedback. Having recently gone through the process myself and seeing it from the other side, I understand how to make your application stand out and would love to help you feel confident and prepared at every step. I also tutor GCSE Science, Maths and English, as well as A-level Biology and Chemistry. Whether you’re aiming for top exam grades or a strong Medicine application, I’m here to support you every step of the way.
My teaching style
I use proven methods that helped me succeed, tailoring each lesson to the student’s needs. I aim to create an encouraging and focused learning environment where students feel supported but also challenged. I push my students to think critically, explain their reasoning clearly, and step outside their academic comfort zones. This not only helps build deeper understanding but also prepares them for the demands of real exams and interviews.
My Proudest Achievements
Some of my proudest academic achievements include achieving 10 Grade 9s at GCSE and 3 A*s in Biology, Chemistry, and Maths at A-level. I was awarded the Yorkshire Bank Mathematics Prize for achieving the highest Maths A-level result in my school. In addition, I scored in the top 2% nationally in both the UCAT and BMAT admissions tests. These accomplishments reflect not only hard work, but also the effective strategies I now enjoy sharing with students I tutor.
