About Me
Hi, I’m Dan a third year undergraduate at Cambridge, doing a six year degree. I live on a farm in Gloucestershire so have always been close to animals, and my mother was a maths teacher and so was quite pushed down the STEM mindset and I have really enjoyed studying biology, chemistry and maths for so many years. Beyond this, I would love to become some form of David Attenbourgh figure in my life, not because I want to be famous, but because I am genuinely passionate and love talking about the sciences and animals and want to pass that passion onto other people to make them care too. Outside of my degree, I enjoy hiking, football, basketball and travelling, especially in Italy and Slovenia. I am also a part of the Cambridge OTC, which takes up a lot of time, but I’d definitely say is enjoyable too
My teaching style
I like to start my students off on a topic test on a particular aspect of a subject to highlight areas that they are less capable with, so that I can really hone in on what they can improve on. After this, I will begin to go through easier questions and talk them through methodology, before asking them to do similar questions to check their understanding. Then I will move on to increasingly difficult questions until I get to a level where I am happy with their understanding and ability

I have worked as a tutor in Oxbridge admissions, maths, chemistry and biology for 3 years now
