About Me
I am Riyan – a recent LLB graduate from Warwick and LLM graduate from Cambridge.
From tutoring adolescent refugees in reading to lecturing visiting Chinese students on international law, I have curated a diverse set of teaching experiences.
I have built a track record of supporting individuals across cultures and contexts – effectively using my knowledge and building rapport with them.
The opportunity I see now is to impart the learnings that I accrued in the process of being a law student onto students who are in the shoes that I was myself shortly before.
With this in mind, I would be happy to provide any of the following services:
-Law personal statement review
-Tutoring of the following LLB modules: criminal law, tort law, contract law, public law, international law, labour law, islamic law, competition law, EU law and legal theory.
My teaching style
Dynamic, collaborative, and insight-driven — I empower students to think critically, communicate persuasively, and navigate complex ideas with creativity and confidence.
I design simulations like mock acquisitions and ESG client pitches, where students role-play as lawyers to develop negotiation skills, legal reasoning, and commercial awareness in real-world contexts.
