Clodagh
About Me
Hi, I’m Clodagh and I’m studying graduate entry medicine at King’s College London. I graduated with a 1st in Natural Sciences from Trinity College, Cambridge having specialised in Pathology. This involved studying Maths, Chemistry and Biology at University as well as at A level so I am very comfortable teaching these subjects.
I am currently studying medicine at KCL, where I am in the second year of the MBBS programme (which is exactly the same as the first year of the graduate medicine programme.)
I achieved top 10% results in both the UCAT and GAMSAT entrance exams in 2023, and received interviews and offers for all 4 medicine courses I applied to.
Outside of studying, I love to play sports and read. I have extensive experience 1-on-1 tutoring for various ages, and have also ran maths courses for primary school children. I have advised many students on admissions for biomedical sciences, including Oxbridge admissions, as well as for medicine students. I particularly enjoy helping students to prepare for the UCAT and med school interviews.
I would love to help you achieve your goals, whether they are related to admissions or studying.
My teaching style
I’m a very enthusiastic teacher, and am keen to get to know my students’ individual learning style. I often like to work through problems together so we can identify any areas which are more challenging. For admissions, I like to do lots of practice interviews to help with speaking under pressure.
My past experience
I have experience tutoring a range of subjects for students aged 10-18, including 11+ preparation. I have taught children with additional requirements, including dyslexia, and enjoy adapting my teaching style to the needs of my student.
