About Me

Hello! I’m Chloe and I’m currently in my 5th year of Medicine at UoB. I’m passionate about the medical field and believe that preparation is often the key to success! The application process can be daunting but fear not… there are plenty of ways to make your application stand out so you can secure your future. From exam tips to personal statement advice to interview prep & more, I hope to set you on the road to success so you can maximise your application and hopefully secure all of your offers too! While I’m afraid there is no magic ingredient that will guarantee you a place at your chosen university, there are a number of ways that you can boost your chances of having a successful application… medicine’s best-kept secrets are to be revealed soon! However, do remember that medicine is such a rigorous profession so ensure you do have some hobbies that aren’t studying! In my spare time, I really enjoy yoga, hiking & travelling. I look forward to getting to know you & helping you to achieve your fullest potential!

My teaching style

I feel that interacting with your learning materials is essential to learning. I like to employ a variety of teaching methods to ensure that you are making the most out of your learning. This can range from sharing my tips to using walkthrough examples, practice questions and more. I’d be more than happy to shape the sessions to how you work best as well!

My past experience

I have had a significant amount of previous teaching experience. I teach and examine basic life support skills (CPR & AED usage as well as first aid) to first-year healthcare students at university. I have taught first aid for over 6 years as the Lead Cadet in St.John Ambulance. I tutor piano, music theory, English and Maths to primary school pupils. I also engage in leading revision sessions for medical students at the university.

My Proudest Achievements

Getting all my medical school offers has definitely got to be up there on my proudest achievements! I would also say that raising approximately ÂŁ7000 for MAGPAS Air Ambulance during my time as the Charity Prefect in my school is one achievement that is very close to my heart and one that I will always be proud of!
