About Me
I am a dedicated second-year medical student at Hull York Medical School with a passion for teaching and mentoring others. I have experience providing one-to-one tutoring for A-level Biology, GCSE Biology and tutoring for university entrance interviews. I excel at simplifying complex concepts and tailoring lessons to meet each student’s individual needs. My strong academic background, exceptional communication skills, and patient approach allow me to create a supportive and encouraging learning environment where every question is welcomed, and no concept is too small to revisit.
I have successfully helped students gain admission into their top choice universities such as graduate-entry Medicine at Warwick, Medicine at Hull York Medical School, and Physiotherapy at Brighton through my academic and interview tutoring. I am kind, approachable, and committed to taking the time needed to ensure my students build confidence and achieve measurable improvements in their performance.
My teaching style
My teaching style is friendly and supportive, all about creating an environment where students feel confident. I believe no question is too small or too silly, and I’m always happy to take the time needed to explain things in a way that makes sense for each individual. I adapt to the pace and needs of my students, making lessons engaging and interactive while focusing on building their confidence. I incorporate visual aids, practice questions, and step-by-step explanations to simplify complex topics, fostering critical thinking and problem-solving skills. My goal is to help students feel comfortable, encouraged, and ready to tackle any challenge they face.
My past experience
I have experience tutoring both academically and for interviews, helping students achieve their goals in Medicine at Hull York Medical School, graduate-entry Medicine at Warwick, and Physiotherapy at Brighton. I focus on creating a supportive and relaxed environment, ensuring students feel confident and well-prepared. Whether breaking down challenging topics or practicing interview techniques, I tailor my approach to each individual, helping them succeed through encouragement, clear guidance, and a genuine belief in their abilities.
My Proudest Achievements
Outside of academics, I’ve also competed successfully across the country in my equestrian discipline, an experience that taught me resilience, dedication, and the importance of preparation—qualities I bring to every aspect of my life. and obviously getting into Medical school!
