I am a dedicated and adaptable educator with extensive experience teaching students with severe special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). My background includes delivering functional skills education tailored to individual learning requirements and supporting students across both core and extended curricula. With a strong foundation in sport science and education, I strive to create inclusive learning environments that nurture personal growth and academic achievement in SEND and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) contexts.
My teaching style
My teaching style is centered on patience, understanding, and adaptability, ensuring that each student’s unique needs are met. I utilize clear, concise communication and differentiated instruction techniques to engage learners with a variety of abilities and learning preferences. I focus on building strong relationships with students, fostering a supportive atmosphere that motivates and encourages progress, particularly within the SEND and SEMH populations.
My Proudest Achievements
I am proud to have successfully directed my own business, Sport4Real Ltd, managing all aspects of operations and generating over £1 million in sales contracts, demonstrating my leadership and organizational skills. Additionally, I have effectively taught and supported students with severe special needs at Study Mind, delivering functional skills programs that empower learners to achieve their potential. Completing two degrees alongside a comprehensive career in education and business showcases my commitment to personal and professional development.
