About Me
I’m a passionate tutor studying Politics at King’s College London, after earning A*AA in Psychology, English Literature, and Politics, with top GCSE grades. I also hold a Certificate of Higher Education in Journalism from Brunel University.
I’ve led political education workshops for young people aged 15–22, facilitated creative writing sessions, and worked as an editor for student publications. These roles sharpened my ability to adapt to different learning styles, break down complex ideas, and build student confidence.
Whether you’re preparing for exams, improving essay skills, or just looking to boost subject confidence, I offer patient, structured support with a focus on clarity and encouragement. I believe that learning should feel empowering — and even fun! Let’s work together to make your academic goals a reality.
My teaching style
My teaching style is supportive, structured, and highly adaptable. I break down complex ideas into manageable steps and use relatable examples, whether from real-life scenarios, exam questions, or discussions, to build deep understanding. I create an open environment where students feel confident asking questions and actively engaging with material.
I tailor sessions to each student’s learning style, whether they are visual learners, thrive through discussion, or benefit from structured notes. My goal is not just to boost knowledge, but to build lasting confidence and independent thinking. Many students have told me they leave sessions feeling more capable, motivated, and ready to tackle challenges head-on.
My past experience
Yes, I have previous experience with teaching and tutoring. I led group reading sessions at a community library, where I supported younger students in developing their reading fluency and comprehension skills. I also tutored a Year 9 cohort in English Literature, focusing on essay writing, text analysis, and exam preparation. Through consistent support, I helped them build confidence and improve their academic performance.
My Proudest Achievements
One of my proudest achievements is speaking at the Oxford Union, a surreal moment that crowned years of debating. That journey also saw me finish as runner-up in a national competition and take part in programmes at Oxford University, all of which strengthened my confidence in public speaking and sharpened my critical thinking. Alongside this, I achieved A*AA at A-Level in Psychology, English Literature, and Politics, and I am now proud to serve as Editor of two student publications at King’s College London, where I commission and proof-read articles while supporting fellow writers. These experiences have not only strengthened my skills but also deepened my passion for helping others grow through learning.
