About Me
Hi! I’m Arranavi Aroo — a friendly, dedicated tutor with experience teaching English, Maths, and Science from KS1 to KS3, as well as introductory law to older students. I’ve worked with Ali’s Academy and a small school setting, supporting a wide range of learners including those with ADHD, autism, anxiety, and behavioural challenges. My sessions are calm, encouraging, and always adapted to suit each student’s pace and personality. Whether your child needs help catching up, staying focused, or being stretched further, I’m here to build their confidence and make learning enjoyable again. I believe every student can succeed — with the right support, patience, and positivity!
I specialise in creating tailored, engaging lessons that build confidence, curiosity, and independence. I’ve worked closely with students who face learning challenges, including ADHD, autism, anxiety, and behavioural difficulties, and I take pride in adapting my teaching style to meet each child’s individual needs. Whether your child is catching up, preparing for exams, or looking to be stretched beyond the curriculum, I’m here to support them every step of the way.
My teaching style
My teaching style is calm, patient, and student-focused. I adapt lessons to suit individual needs, using clear explanations, visual aids, and encouragement to build confidence and independent thinking. I make learning engaging, supportive, and structured especially for students who may have ADHD, autism, or anxiety. I always aim to create a safe space where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and progressing at their own pace.
My past experience
Yes, I got the opportunity to teach students from various countries through oxford summer courses
I also have experience to teach KS1 to KS3 via Ali’s Academy and a small primary school.
My Proudest Achievements
One of my proudest achievements is helping a student with severe anxiety and learning difficulties go from completely disengaged to confidently participating and enjoying lessons. I’m also proud of being selected to teach law to young students during a summer course a role that allowed me to inspire curiosity and critical thinking. On top of that, securing a legal internship while continuing my tutoring work shows my dedication to both education and personal growth.
